Explanation

The author of ‘Tabaqat-i-Nasiri’ was Minhaj-us-Siraj, and it was dedicated to Sultan Nasiruddin. This work has 23 chapters. H. G. Raverty translated it into English. This book contains a direct account of Muhammad Ghori’s conquest of India. It is noteworthy that Minhaj stated that Qutbuddin Aibak issued coins in his own name and had the khutba read.
