Show answer and explanation

Correct answer: (a) Iltutmish

Explanation

The construction of the Qutub Minar was started by Qutb-ud-din Aibak, and it was completed during the reign of Sultan Iltutmish. It was named ‘Qutub Minar’ after the famous Sufi saint Khwaja Qutb-ud-din Bakhtiyar Kaki. It is a circular, five-storeyed structure. During the reign of Firoz Shah Tughlaq, the fourth storey suffered considerable damage; therefore, Firoz not only reconstructed the fourth storey but also got the fifth storey built. Thus, instead of four storeys, the Qutub Minar came to have five storeys, which still exist today. Sultan Ulugh Khan and Razia Sultan had no contribution to the construction of the Qutub Minar.
