Explanation

Mughal emperor Ali Gauhar invaded Bihar in 1759 AD, and in the same year he declared himself the Mughal Badshah and adopted the name Shah Alam II. Shah Alam II was crowned in 1761 AD at the English factory of Gulzarbagh (near Patna) under the control of the English. During his time, the Third Battle of Panipat (1761 AD) and the Battle of Buxar (1764 AD) took place.
