Explanation

Haji Begum had the mausoleum (tomb) of her husband Humayun built in Delhi during 1565–72 A.D. The plan of this mausoleum was prepared by Mirak Mirza Ghiyas (an Iranian architect). This mausoleum is mainly built of red sandstone and white marble. A Charbagh-style garden was laid out for this mausoleum.
