Show answer and explanation

Correct answer: (b) Gita Rahasya

Explanation

The book “Gita Rahasya” was written by Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak in Mandalay Jail. In it, he gave a detailed explanation of the Karma Yoga of the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita. After reading “Gita Rahasya,” Gandhiji said that Tilak’s commentary on the Gita would remain his eternal memorial. In the preface of this book, Tilak wrote: “I prepared the first draft of the book in Mandalay Jail during the winter of 1910–1911. Thereafter, as new ideas came to my mind, I kept improving that draft from time to time, and the parts that had to be left incomplete due to the lack of necessary books were completed after my release from prison.” This makes it clear that most of “Gita Rahasya” was written by Tilak in Mandalay Jail itself, and some part was written after his release.
