Explanation

Mool Shankar (Swami Dayanand Saraswati) was born in 1824 in a Brahmin family in the Morbi princely state (Kathiawar region) of Gujarat. In 1860, in Mathura, he learnt the pure meaning of the Vedas from Swami Virjanand Ji and developed deep faith in the Vedic religion. In 1867, he raised the “Pakhand Khandini Pataka”. In 1875, he founded the Arya Samaj in Bombay. His ideas are described in his famous book “Satyarth Prakash”. His other works include Pakhand Khandan, Rigvedadi Bhashyabhumika, Rigveda Bhashya, Advaitmat Khandan, Panch Mahayagya Vidhi, and Vedaviruddha Matakhandanam.
