Explanation

The last Mughal ruler to sit on the famous Peacock Throne made by Shah Jahan was Muhammad Shah, because during his reign Nadir Shah invaded India in 1739 and defeated the Mughal army in the Battle of Karnal. Nadir Shah took with him sixty lakh rupees, several thousand ashrafis, gold articles worth one crore rupees, jewels worth fifty crore rupees, the Koh-i-Noor, and the Takht-e-Taus (Peacock Throne) to Iran.
