Explanation

Islam Shah was the son of Sher Shah. Islam Shah ruled over almost the whole of North India for about 8 years, and he died around 1553 AD. Islam Shah divided his military troops into units of 50, 200, 250 and 500. Possibly, this system of military division was also in practice during Sher Shah’s time. It is noteworthy that the Bihar Public Service Commission has considered option (e) as the correct answer.
