Who organized the 'Khudai Khidmatgar' in 1929?

Correct answer: (a) Abdul Ghaffar Khan

Explanation

In the North-West Frontier Province, under the leadership of Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan, a volunteer organization named ‘Khudai Khidmatgar’ was established. They were also known as the ‘Red Shirts’. The ‘Red Shirts’ raised the slogan of national unity among the Pathans, organized a movement against British colonialism for independence, and demanded improvement in the condition of working people. It is noteworthy that when Muslims in other provinces were keeping themselves away from the Satyagraha movement, the Muslims of the North-West Frontier Province, under the leadership of Khan Abdul Ghaffar, played an important role in the Civil Disobedience Movement.
