Explanation
The Ishihara test is a test of colour vision. It uses plates of coloured dots in which a number or a path can be seen only by a person with normal colour vision. It is mainly used to detect red–green colour blindness. It was designed by the Japanese eye doctor Shinobu Ishihara in 1917.
Kidney function is tested by blood creatinine, liver function by enzymes such as ALT and AST, and the prostate by the PSA blood test.
