Photosynthesis occurs—

Correct answer: (c) During the day or at night

Explanation

Photosynthesis needs light, not a particular time of day. In nature that light is sunlight, so it normally happens by day, but plants can also photosynthesise in artificial (electric) light at night, and some marine algae even in bright moonlight.
