Explanation

‘Indian Constitution Day’ is celebrated on 26th November. The Constitution of India was completed and adopted by the Constituent Assembly on 26th November, 1949, and some of its provisions were also brought into force on the same day. Therefore, this day is observed as Constitution Day. On the other hand, the Constitution of India came into full effect on 26th January, 1950, and 26th January is celebrated as ‘Republic Day’.
