Correct answer: (a) Valmiki National Park
Explanation
Under the Government of India’s centrally sponsored scheme for tiger conservation, “Project Tiger,” the protected areas that are notified are considered Tiger Reserves. At present, Bihar has only one Tiger Reserve—Valmiki Tiger Reserve. It is located in West Champaran district of Bihar. As the state’s second Tiger Reserve, Kaimur Wildlife Sanctuary has received in-principle approval.
